Gallagher: back on the road

Inverness Braveheart Kenta Gallagher is indeed 'back on the road' but the mountain bikers hasn't abandoned his roots. Gallagher has packed his bags and is on his way to Switzerland to ride in a round of the Swiss Cup with a British team. "I was due to race in the UK this weekend, but the race was washed out because of the rain, so we're off to Switzlerland. The management did a good job of selecting races. I had a good trip back home to recharge the batteries and hopefully pick up where we left off," explained Gallagher, not unhappy with this unexpected turn of events.

After the Swiss race it's the British national cross-country mountain bike championships in Reading and, a week later, another World Cup race, this time in Val d'Isere in France. A busy three weeks for the Under-23 rider who reckons he's fresh and in form.
