renfrew bunch saturdays 10am at the bogs from now till march. good training run for 50-80 miles with an average of 18-19mph.
best bunch by a bike length!

Yes, runs every Saturday - takes Springfield road out of Cupar up to Stratheden Hospital, group 1 turns right and on to A91, left to Melville lodges, left to Parbroath, left at Aytoun Smiddy, left to Parbroath again, left at Parbroath, on to Lindores (towards Newburgh), left to Grange of Lindores as you leave Lindores village, right at T junction after the church, left on to A913 to Auchtermuchty, left at Pitcairlie toll (after approx 2.5 miles) and finish at top of hill just past Lumquhat farm.
Group 2 continues via Springfield past Elmwood Golf Club, joins the A91 and goes left to Melville Lodges roundabout and follows route above from there. |

Aye, for some reason through and off started not long after Tarbert but in a bunch of 30+ it took some time to get back to the front.
Approx half the bunch were still there at the end. |

Hi,
I counted 32 last Sat. the 29th. I turned at Helensburgh but in previous weeks it has been pretty good although I heard last Sat. the pace was pretty tough going along Loch Lomond side for some reason ??
The bunch as normal breaks up a bit on the Cameron Hill at Duck bay and I normally ride in with a small group.

don't believe everything you read caaaalum....me and jimsy have hung about anniesland on the past 2 saturday mornings and were only joined by a gypsy with a pram full of clothespegs...we set off and managed to drop the gypsy at bowling...as a training bunch this is hopeless...freeeenk |

Anniesland bunch 2010
As the first of January is a Sat, I have spoken to a few of regular legends and we were going to change the first run of the new year to Sunday the 2nd. Meeting Anniesland at 10am as usual.
Spread the word guys please.

It doesn't start until January and runs until March.
The Gales are having club rides from Anniesland on Saturday mornings leaving Anniesland Cross at 9.30am round Sinclair Street if you are interested. Nothing pacy.

Hi there,
I've just moved through to Strathclyde Uni, and the Anniesland
Glasgow bunch seems to be just down the road from me. I'm a reasonable rider but far more of a trackie than a roadie. Is this run still on and if so where exactly does it meet ?

Kilmarnock - Walkers Cycling Club
10.00 a.m. start from Walkers Cycling shop in Kilmaurs every Saturday. Runs usually include a coffe stop en route and can be anything from 35 miles plus. Moderate paced and quite sociable.

Are there any runs that leave around 8am? (Glasgow, EK, Lanark?)
Will be coming out from Cumbernauld so would need to be finished by around 11am to get back for noon.

Is the Saturday AM run around the 3 lochs from Anniesland cross departing 10 am still the same as ever ? Do you have to be a proper local to blend in ? |

good news they released jimsy from hospital early so thaT hecould enjoy the new year stuff.. they kept his aerodynamic hump for tests..he asked me to send his best wishes for the new year to all his pals in braveheart ward....the big eejit can.t type..[i think he might even struggle to spell his name |

i know a lot of you don,t know aND DON,T CARE ABOUT JIMSY despite his various afflictions but good news he,s been found in the vale of leven hospital {christie ward if you want to send him a card[ he had fallen off by the roadside and fortunately rocked himself to sleep on his new homemade aerodynamic hump.....it alsao helped him get UNDER THE HOUR [for a ten] this summer .....get well soon... |

From January 1st 2009 the start location of the Stirling BC weekend road rides is switching to Forthbank sports stadium.
Forthbank is easily accessible and well signposted from the A91 ringroad, Sprinkerse industrial estate or via the new Riverside complex.

first circuit of the dalmally 2009 on sun am legrand departure 8.30 ---845 precisely.. no wheelhangerons please .. ps has anyone seen jimsy since sunday ..we came out of the ardbeg inn with a bellyful of anti knock material jimsy signalled my spell at the front and when i got to anniesland cross there was no sign of the big eejit...he was wearing an outsize bell meteor tt crash hat, which he got from a car boot sale, and a home made aero hump up his back....no rewards for information |

bad news ...the dalmally circuit is off tomorrow...just been wakened by an anxious jimsy who had just got back from a late night christmas shopping trip...exasperated by finding that they stopped selling his favourite plus fours due to the credit crunch....i,m not going round there on my own |
