Glasgow Wheelers are having regular 10am Sunday runs now with varying starts and routes: the details are available on the web page

http://www.glasgowwheelers.com/training.php

However:

Each Club run will have a designated Ride Leader which will change week to week. The responsibility of the Ride Leader will be to look after new riders and the last rider on the road. Basically - no one will be left behind! Details of upcoming rides will be posted on this page ahead of rides with Google Map link showing full route and info. And since we're giving you some notice please look out, fit or buy some mud guards - if only to keep your own bahooky dry.

Sun 23rd Oct Eastwood Toll 10am Southside Extravaganza! Route details Craig d1ck

hot news...i was round at jimsy's helping the "tuck -in" people settle him down for the night when he came up with another gem based on the braveheart forum news which i relay to him....the dalmally sunday run will now be re categorised as a "reliability" run and hangers-on will be charged £2.00...i'll gather this before the "grand depart" ....don't be put off ...it's not another of his scams...the money collected will be used for the first round at the ardbeg..."accidents" permitting....frenklyreliable
frenkmcginty Posted - 05 Feb 2011 : 22:10:35
i.ve been out for the past 2 weeks and there has only been me and " walter"..[the lycra fan]......where have all the sunday bunch gone???....frenksolitaire
Chipolonie Posted - 15 Dec 2010 : 23:27:32

yes the weather has been a bit iffy in terms of getting out on the bike ...but as a veteran of more than 20 actual blizzards its impossible to be put off....jimsy's been round at my door..he got a mono ski which his carer picked up in a car boot sale...he wants to try it out tomorrow...so ...to cut a long story short...we are setting off round the dalmally a bit earlier than usual leaving anniesland at at 8 ..8.15...precisely....if you are not tough enough..we'll pick you up at the ardbeg on the way back around 3pm.....frenkdrumup
frenkmcginty Posted - 21 Nov 2009 : 22:43:00
i,ve just had jimsy on the phone.....there will be no circuit of the dalmally tomorrow due to the inclement weather .the possibility of being isolated due to landslides, flooding and and other natural possible catastrophes...stay indoors and try to catch passing crayfish[they are the real pests nowadays]....of course these abandonment plans will go out the window if mojogogo turns up.....frenklyfickle
frenkmcginty Posted - 21 Mar 2009 : 20:04:08
jimsy got treatment for his "sundayrunophobia" and is going out tomorrow with a musette full of cavendish bananas to celebrate the milan san remo result....he,s quite interested in the concept of an anniesland san remo...[he knows nothing about geography] so be there or be square...what?...where?.....dalmallyyanumpty

The falkirk Bicycle Club run on a Sunday now starts from The Station Hotel next to Larbert Station. All other details remain teh same however the club now splits into 2 runs with a more sedate ride at 16-18 mph and a hard training ride for the enthusiastic ones.

[br]are you making a comeback chipolonie?

I tipped the scales at 15 stone 5 weeks ago. I think it's more like damage limitation rather than a come back.

just so you know I was 10"10 when I stopped racing.

Now that's dedication to the beer

a few thousand miles in the hills should sort that out
