Results will be Posted here later today. I would like to thanks the 40plus volunteers who helped out on the day; all the Nightingale marshals and convoy, Comms, First Aid, moto-bike guys and www.solidrockcycles.com. Special thanks to all the competitors, especially the Scratch Group riders from both races hope you each had a competitive and sporting race.

| just like to big up the wee fella that was with g small ,paul hornby and my self on the way to killern the 2nd time round ,he was riding a yellow ribble .the wee fella did not want to or try to shy away from a spell .had to be told to sit in as we were 3 mins down just trying to get home. big heart on a wee lad. |

| Thanks very much to the neutral service guys who gave me the last rear wheel in the vane, and had to perform an emergency wheel truing at the roadside... and had a great sense of humour about the whole thing. That's the last time I forget my spare wheels... |

GPS mapping gives 41miles exactly for the course. Must admit it felt more like 50 |
