Firstly apologies to everyone that I could not do something about the weather this morning. We try our best to organise events as best as we can but unfortunately have no control over the weather.
Would also like to take the opportunity to thank all the marshalls, timekeepers, etc, who stood out for a lengthy period in the rain & cold as without them we would be unable to hold such events.

Listed below are this morning's result - need to apologise to Iain Binning as I made a mistake in transcribing his result onto the board. Iain did a 2.23.33 and not a 2.33.33.

Just to point out there is a mistake in the report re the Team Times - Sandy Wallace Cycles won the team in 4.37.14 not 5.37.14 and Dooleys were second with 4.37.35 not 5.37.55

It's been a long day Mhairi, but i think if you check the 'Math' then 5.37.14 is correct.

Many thanks to Mhairi and Fife for hosting the event. Very well organised and an army of marshalls, signs, and encouraging shouts all the way around.

A soggy day, but even wetter when you are standing in it for 3 hours - very much appreciated. Thanks again.

p.s. warm drinks and home baking very much appreciated

Bud you are right it was a long day and when I have been typing up info for results, etc I think I have looked at the hours for the womens team result. Apologies.

I have been left with a couple of jackets - a red endura jacket and a red cycling weekly gilet. Any takers?
