.
Sorry to report that Jimmy passed away peacefully on Monday in
Glasgow. He was a life lonng member of Glasgow United Cycling Club
and was interested in all aspects of cycling. Many a
time he helped at events and was well liked by all who knew him.

Due to the current situation there will not be a formal service;
only immediate family at the interment.

Condolences go out to his wife and extended family. Jimmy was
a good supporter of cycling; he will be sadly missed by all who
knew him. I personally have lost a true friend.

Rest in Peace Jimmy.

Hi Jimmy.
I live very near Jimmy and used to get a wave from him on his daily walk when I passed him. I hadn't seen him for a while, so suspected all wasn't well.

Can I ask how old he was?

Hi Gordon,

Sorry for the delay. Jimmy was 87yrs old but had been in care for about 3yrs. My wife spoke to Linda (Jimmy's wife) and she seems to be struggling a bit, which is not surprising,given the current situation. She is a bit isolated but we wil keep in touch with her
and maybe able to visit once things settle down. Hope all is well with you and yours.

Regards
Jimmy Rae
