Now the summer is here 2 or 3 of us head off from Annisland Cross, Glasgow (below the tower) around 07:00am most Sunday mornings.
Around 60_90mls easy out faster back.
Home for lunch time and domestic chores.

The infamous Lanark Ladyboys meet at 10am at the public loos this Sunday will have reduced numbers as some of the regulars will be setting off from Biggar with a band from Edinburgh Tri for a LSD ride of 80 miles heading Tweedsmuir,Talla, Selirk, peebles. Usually a bit of a giggle in a decent sized bunch. Anyone wants to join us or the guys leaving from Lanark - feel free.

Sadly the Beast tells the truth. Having seen off Bozza Mcgurk and the rest of the Ladyboys at Broughton, it was left to the two larger lads to keep the Beast in check. Blootering, up the beeftub was fun, but ill advised, so when the mulletted one attacked on the final climb it was lights out. 30 mile to go and out of fuel means a long limp home. The auld bugger can have the 'King of october' title.

Question is will the Spider ever get back in the saddle?

Spider your powder must be drier than a nun's chuff mate, but if you fancy introducing some moisture the Ladyboys are on Summer time 9am trot out from the Tourist info.

Look at the Ivy website. Go to "contents", select "forum" then Time Trialling/winter runs.

Glasgow, south-side, Sundays.

McLuskie's Bunch, meets 10.30am, at Eastwood Toll (A77/A727). About 40-50 miles, medium speed, with a cafe stop. There's plenty decent back-roads out there!

just now we average 8-10 should swell a bit more once certain bodies extract a didgit.

all very sensible just now...nae mad bits or heroics or winter racers.

turn of the year plan to sprint for 30 signs and the obligatory last 5 mile habble.

Which fat one?? We do have more than 1 you know. At least one of them is fast enough to give Tony a doin. The Beast and Bozza are threatening to make an appearance..Sunday at 9.30...should introduce a bit of mayhem.

A bunch will be leaving Renfrew at 10 am on Sundays and heading round the coast to Ardrossan and back on the Lugton Road.

If anybody can't make the Anniesland on a Saturday then this would be a good alternative.
