I agree the whole thing was well organised, good marshalling was needed on some of the narrow roads and corners.

Looking forward to contributing to the race organisation for the Battle of the Braes, look out for some good photos (hopefully).

Big thanks to everyone that made today's race possible. It must be hard enough running one race but you all managed 2 flawless events at the same time.
Thanks,
Martin

Hi all,

Well I think the event passed off well and everyone enjoyed themselves which is the most important thing!

I would just like to say a big thankyou to all the helpers and marshalls who turned out today as without their help in any event these races would not take place. Their contribution was awsome today!

Big thanks to the NEG riders, and all that were involved with running the race on the day e.g Comms, Photo finish guys, service and paramedics. Also I must give Ruth Volley a mention at SC, she was a great help and I had a lot of support from her and the SC guys!

Well done to ALL the riders, there were a couple of incidents but the police were very happy with the way riders conducted themselves and the event as a whole.

Well done Evan and Robbie! Also well done to Martin, Ramsey and Big Brucie of the Fawkirk!

I usually take pictures for of our races but due to organising it I never managed to get it out of the case! If anyone could send me photo's or footage I would be really pleased.

Cheers,
Craig.

Whats happened to Ian PB this year? He's been much missed at the racing.

Well done FBC yesterday. Super organisation and a unique race in the Scottish calender. Congratulations Mr Lehey

Any news on the guy that got ambulance off?

Craig did do a great job organising, more so as it was his first event (almost) but there are many well organised event (thanks to all event organisers), i am curious to know why you think it is unique? Because of the course, or the fact that both races were run at the same time

Cheers

Maybe race orgs should offer some sort of recompense to Ian and his like for lying in ditches for hours taking these pics or as a service to competitors (you get nought for nought these days)? posting them all online can take hours too. His skill with a camera is missed by all.

8th place in the B race was Graham Moore, Malcom unfortunately crashed with a couple of miles to go, getting up and finishing very well was unfortunately a bit beyond him.

Thanks to everyone who helped to organise.

thankfully big andy leiths injuries are nowhere near as bad as the looked at the time, hopefully he'll be back on the bike soon.shame he may have lost out on the junior jersey though.

at most races the first aiders tend to be forgotten about and thankfully don't have to deal with too many serious incident.they were excellent yesterday as were the paramedics and police.

well done too the falkirk, great too see both races on the same circuit at the same time.

Thanks to all involved for the race - my second road race and my first time not getting dropped.

This is a long shot, but I don't suppose anyone picked up a Sigma cycle computer on the course did they? I think it fell off somewhere in the mile or two leading up to where the B9124 crosses the railway line, but I'm not completely sure about that.
