First Post and World Championship reflections.

Hi all, First of all I want to say a massive thank you to Braveheart for the upcoming season which is critical to helping Scottish cyclists achieve their ambitions. Where to begin? World Champs in Hong Kong didn't go the way we had planned. It just didn't come together as a team on race day but it was a huge learning curve and we will come back better next year. That's me been fulltime with GB for 18 months now and delighted to have now made the jump on to Olympic Podium Programme in the last two weeks! Ever since I started track cycling at Meadowbank in Edinburgh as a kid I have always aspired to get to where I am now and I know I have a long way to go and a lot of hard work to do. But hey, training for a living isn't a bad way to spend your days (ask me that again after a double training day !!) Next couple of months for me are back training hard and getting some racing under my belt in Europe which I am looking forward to as there isn't the same pressure and I can use those races to learn more. Until next time............
