Please read these terms and conditions carefully as registering for the event on our website means you agree to them.

Event Safety

All riders must wear a helmet.
Emergency contact numbers will be given out at registration. You are recommended to carry a mobile phone, but please be aware that reception may be patchy.
If you do get into difficulty there will be mobile first aid and limited service support, but you are advised to carry a minimum of spare tubes, basic tool kit, pump and sufficient fluid / nutrition for the ride. The roads are of varying quality and surfaces. Whilst the entire route will be suitable for most types of bike, the organisers recommend fitting the sturdiest tyres you have available.

Liability and Loss

The organisers cannot accept any liability for loss or theft of belongings. Riders participating in the Braveheart Fundraising Ride do so at their own risk and without any liability whatsoever on the part of the Braveheart Fund in respect of any injury, loss or damage suffered except for death or personal injury caused by negligence of the Braveheart Fund or representatives. It is the responsibility of every participant to ensure that they are fit and healthy to complete the ride. If you are in any doubt – please consult your doctor.

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Scotland, but do not affect your statutory rights. If you have any queries please contact the Braveheart Cycling Fund.
