Gala Cycling Club. Team -

I started racing SDA aged 13 years. In 2003, I was Scottish Juvenile Champion and came 2nd in the National Series. In 2005, I was National Youth series winner, Scottish series winner and Scottish Youth Champion. In 2006, I was Scottish junior champion, Scottish junior series winner, and was selected for the British team at the European Championships. In 2007, I was National series Junior winner, Scottish Junior Champion, Scottish series Junior winner and in September 2007 I won the Junior World Champs at Fort William. In November 2007 I ruptured my ACL and rode the world cup series with a motorcross knee brace. In 2008 my results were mixed, as I had been unable to train the previous winter. I underwent a knee reconstruction in September 2008 and I'm currently training hard to be fully fit for the start of the 2009 season.

It has to be winning the World Junior title at the World Champs in Fort William in 2007!

I'm lucky enough to be part of a great team and to have the support of Nigel Page (manager) and Chris Ball (coach); both of whom have considerable experience and expertise to offer. I hope to be able to finish in the top 20 overall in 2009 and to have a couple of top 10 finishes.
