Really big thanks to the marshalls, timekeepers, photo finish people etc for standing out in what was foul conditions today. It was tough to race in but adds a (sort of) fun extra element to the challenge. Really enjoyed it in a masochistic kind of way.
Nice touch for the marshalls/helpers prize draw too.
And I liked the historical info about Archie Craig the Lothian Flyer, touching to see that us racing in his memory brings pleasure to his family. I shall endeavour to do a bit of bloggage about it at some point.

just to echo what's already been said thanks to all marshals who stood out in the torrential rain on saturday.
despite the weather i enjoyed the race on a great circuit. congrats to les ross it was a tough finish! |

Great race, well organised on a fantastic course. Good to see all riders respecting the challenging road conditions, dangerous at some parts. Hopefully the guys that came off are all on the mend! Thanks to all the marshals who stood in horrid conditions to make sure riders were safe.
P.s. I enjoyed this more than the VC Glasgow South Race 3 weeks ago. I'd rather race in the p*ishing rain than in 27 degree heat any day  |

Great day yesterday, well organised and marshalled, the road surface was like ice in places though - aquaplaning everywhere! Really enjoyed it though - great pics on the link above too.
